Anhui
Medical University (AMU), is one of the oldest educational
institutions in Hefei, Anhui province, which is located in the east
of central China and honored as "The city with State Innovation
of Science and Technology". Around the two campuses are some
of the renowned universities and institutions, such as University
of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei Institutes of Physical
Science of China Academy of Science (CASHIPS), ad Hefei University
of Technology (HUT). AMU, formerly Shanghai Southeast Medical College,
was founded in Shanghai by a group of overseas students with M.D.
degree who returned from Japan in 1926. The spectrum of subjects
has steadily been extended and now has developed into a comprehensive
medical university wit 23 subjects covering nearly all of the medical
fields including Clinical Medicine, Public Health and Preventive
Medicine, Health Management, Pharmacology, Dentistry, and Nursing,
among those eight subjects have been qualified to offer Ph.D. degree. Anhui
Medical University has been having the Instruction of the Medical
Program in English Medium. The International faculty was started
mainly for overseas students who wanted to Study in AMU. Since AMU
is a leading university it also attracts Chinese faculties who have
studied oversea se in English and also the ones who have worked
abroad for a few years. So we ensure that the program we offer is
of highest quality and standing. AMU is located in Hefei, the capital city if Anhui Province. On the majestic and delicate natural landscape of Anhui Province, there are abundant tourism resources in China. AMU occupies a total land area of approximately 860,000 Square meter (1,296 hectares), with 700,000 square meters of buildings, including Foreigners have been educated by AMU since its establishment. Anhui Medical University's library has 720000 volumes, of which 20000 are periodicals and E-reading materials, latest books, instructional and reference materials in the field of medical and clinical sciences are also available. Its computer center has been linked to the internet and the Net of State Educational Science and Research. Anhui Medical University (AMU) has over 30 hospitals for students practicing across the country, among those 4 are immediately affiliated to the University. |

Established
in October 1952, Nanchang Hangkong University also
known as Nanchang University Of Aeronautics, enrolling students
from all over the country and other parts of world like Pakistan,
Nepal, India, UAE, Middle East and African Countries, specializes
in engineering, science, arts, and management courses plus courses
in economics, law and education. It used to be affiliated to China
Aviation Industry Bureau and now is under the supervision of local
provincial government and National Defense Science industry commission.
With a building area of 747,000 square meters, the university occupies
3000 hectares with two campuses, of which the new campus of Lake
Qian occupies 2250 hectares. The university has a registered enrollment
of 18,675 students, including 18,071 full-time undergraduates and
604 full-time graduates. It has a total of 1,175 professional teachers,
including 167 professors, 212 associate professors and 4 academicians. |
